Professional Cleaning
Over time, dirt, dust and everyday use can affect both the appearance and performance of your wax jacket.
Using our specialised steam cleaning techniques combined with carefully selected natural cleaning products, we gently clean both the inside and outside of your jacket while protecting the original wax finish and the fabric itself.
Our environmentally responsible cleaning process effectively removes dirt, stains and unwanted odours without compromising the character, quality or water-resistant properties of your jacket.
The result is a fresh, clean jacket that is ready for many more years of outdoor adventures.
Professional Repairs
From small tears, snags and loose seams to damaged linings, broken press studs and worn-out zips, our experienced tailors carry out professional repairs to both the inside and outside of your wax jacket.
We also offer sleeve alterations and can shorten or lengthen your jacket to ensure the perfect fit.
Using a wide range of specialist industrial sewing machines, combined with years of craftsmanship and experience, we are able to professionally repair virtually every brand of wax jacket, including Barbour.
For Barbour jackets, we can even identify the original fabric batch using the unique production code inside the jacket. This enables us, wherever possible, to carry out repairs using identical fabric, preserving the original appearance and character of your jacket.
Traditional Rewaxing
A professional rewax is much more than simply applying a new layer of wax. No two wax jackets are exactly the same. The type of fabric, the age of the jacket and the condition of the existing wax finish all determine the most suitable rewaxing method. That's why we carefully assess every jacket before selecting the right technique.
To ensure the best possible result, we use premium wax, supplied directly by the original manufacturer. This allows us to restore your jacket's water-resistant properties while preserving its authentic look, feel and performance.
The result is a jacket that's ready to withstand the elements once again, comfortable to wear, weather-resistant and prepared for many more years of outdoor adventures.
Summer Holiday: Temporary Change to Our Schedule. Our workshop will be closed from 18 to 26 July.
During this period, no maintenance, repair or rewaxing work will be carried out.
You're still welcome to send us your wax jacket for cleaning, repairs or reproofing during this time. Please note that, due to our annual summer closure, the turnaround time and return of your jacket may take a little longer than you are used to.
From Monday 27 July, we'll be back in the workshop and ready to give your favourite wax jacket the expert care and craftsmanship it deserves.
